Every summer Navy League Cadets from across Newfoundland gather at Camp McCarthy near the town of Carbonear to take part in the Navy League Cadet "Camp Florizel" weekend camp.
Cadets take part in all sorts of fun activities ranging from archery to canoeing and everything in between!

COLORS!
In keeping with naval tradition, every morning at 8:00 AM Navy League Cadets take part in the ceremony of Colors. This involves ringing the "Ships bell" and raising the Canadian Flag.
Archery!
The Cadets always love taking part in archery. Every summer we give all Navy League Cadets at Camp Florizel the opportunity to hone their archery skills!
Is that a HELICOPTER?!?
Every summer the cadets have a very special visit from a Navy League Officer that flies his own helicopter! The cadets absolutely love watching the helicopter land on the field right next to their bunk houses!
